FAQ
Frequently asked questions
An exceptional event starts with clear details. Here is what to know before we discuss yours.
What services does Upscale Events offer?
We offer event coordination, catering, décor and styling, and event rentals. Tell us which services you are interested in so we can discuss the scope that fits your occasion. See our service pages for an overview and our gallery for examples of our work.
What does an event coordinator do?
Coordination connects the moving parts of an event: timing, people, venue logistics and service arrangements. It is different from décor alone. Before booking, ask which responsibilities are included, who handles each task and whether support covers preparation, the event day, or both.
Where is Upscale Events based?
We are based in Randolph, Massachusetts. Include your event location in your inquiry so the conversation starts with the right venue details, travel considerations and setup needs.
How do I request a quote?
Send your event date, location, estimated guest count, preferred services and budget range. Include inspiration photos and your priorities. These details define the request and make it easier to compare the proposed services, quantities and total cost—not just a headline price.
What should I have ready for my first inquiry?
Start with your preferred date, venue or location, estimated guest count and the services you need. Add your budget range, inspiration photos and any details that matter most to you. If something is undecided, say so—a clear starting point is more useful than a perfect plan.
Can I share inspiration for the décor?
Yes—share the colors, atmosphere and details you love, and explain what you like about each image. Inspiration helps communicate your vision; it does not guarantee an exact reproduction. Confirm the proposed pieces, materials, quantities and layout before agreeing to the décor scope.
How do I choose the right rentals?
Start with your guest count, venue layout and the look you want. Specify the pieces, quantities and dimensions you need. Use the gallery for inspiration, then discuss your rental list alongside delivery or pickup, setup, return timing and care requirements. This keeps the practical details as considered as the design.
What should I include in a catering inquiry?
Tell us your guest count, event date, venue, preferred menu and serving style. Include the meal timing and any dietary requirements that need discussion. A clear catering brief also covers service staff, serving equipment and cleanup, so you can review what belongs in the arrangement before choosing your services.
What should I check with my venue?
Check access hours, loading areas, setup and breakdown windows, table layouts and available power. Ask about rules for decorations, candles and outside catering, plus any required approvals. Knowing these details early helps the event design work with the space and keeps responsibilities clear.
Does an inquiry reserve my date?
No. An inquiry starts the conversation; it does not confirm a booking or service agreement. Contact Upscale Events about your preferred date and complete the booking steps agreed directly with the business.
What should my booking agreement include?
Your services, quantities, responsibilities, event date, work start date, total price and payment schedule should be clear. Review delivery, setup, breakdown, cancellation and rescheduling terms where relevant. Keep the agreed details in writing before making a commitment, so everyone is working toward the same event.
How do I contact Upscale Events?
Call or text 857-615-4721, start a WhatsApp chat using the same number, or message @upscaleeventscatering on Instagram. The inquiry page helps you organize your event details into a message you can review and send through WhatsApp or text.
What information should I leave out of my inquiry?
Keep the first message focused on the event. Do not include sensitive identification, payment or medical information. General service needs and event details are enough to begin; discuss any additional requirements directly before sharing private information.
